Boy, do I wish I could get all those discarded tuners back, for they're usually way better than the replacements people put on instead. Eighty years and counting, those old Gibson (or Vega or Martin or whatever) gears have a long way to go yet, if only the players would get with the program. Set 577: Rare 1937-1942 Grover G-93 tuners as were found on most all Martin style 18 guitars in the late 30s (D-18, 000-18, etc) as well as a few Gibson and Epiphone model instruments. This set is in excellent condition, no bent shafts or posts, they tuners turn freely with no tight spots. But looking for a set now, the available Wilkinson tuners that I see look differently.

A previously A/B'ed D-28 gets a swap from Grover Rotomatic tuners to Waverly open back. I A/B it before/after and recompare it to the '65 D-21 it was A/B'ed
